SPRING MEETINGS OF YSPCS

The Scientific Spring Meetings of the Young Section of the Polish Chemical Society (former: Student’s Section) is a nationwide cyclic conference, organized for over 15 years. The conference topics cover general-chemical issues as well as those from the borderline of chemistry and biology, medicine, chemical technology, physics and nanotechnology. The main goal of the meeting is:

• exchange of scientific experiences in the field of chemistry and related natural sciences among the student environment of all levels;
• familiarizing future chemists with the chemical market in Poland;
• learning about development perspectives in chemical and peri-chemical professions in our country;
• promotion of Polish science and careers in science and industry;
• integration of young chemists and chemistry enthusiasts from all over Poland;
• developing a network of nationwide scientific cooperation, associating people with similar scientific interests, promoting ecological thoughts and cooperation for the sake of the environment

The conference is attended by the most talented students and PhD students, representatives of the majority of Polish universities. It is an opportunity to meet together, share knowledge and discuss organizational activities in the future. During the Conference, students and PhD students present the results of their research in the form of posters or oral announcements.

During the conference, there are also meetings with invited guests from the world of industry – representatives of companies, as well as institutions or public benefit organizations. The conference also aims to enable students to establish scientific contacts by participating in the lectures of invited, Polish chemists. The meeting of such a large group of young chemists is an opportunity for a greater consolidation of the environment, establishing scientific contacts and mutual inspirations.
